The route is Lviv- Zamość (136 km). There almost was no rain, but strong cross wind was changing our tour during the stage. Our middle speed was far from road bicycle racing. But anything can happen.
We’d like to remind once more about successful border crossing thanks to support and coordinated work of Ukrainian and Polish frontier guards. It is very important, as we carried all reserve of food given by supermarket “Furshet”. We are grateful for your help with food. No comments. If custom officers hadn’t let us cross the border with considerable cargo, it would have caused bad consequences for all of us – all participants of cycle race.
It was also quite funny later. When we crossed the border by Oleg Nazarenko station wagon, we quickly had to find permanent vehicle. We’ve bought Polish bus for 1500$ from our friend. Those were the circumstances of insuperable force, as before the start, one of the cycle race partners refused help with vehicle. Without it our ride was more costly.
Under such conditions, our ride could be disrupted, but this is not our story. At the moment, we are in Zamość for camping. We have taken a meal and we are going to relax. Tomorrow we are moving to Lublin, where we have a range of interesting meetings, in particular with Consul-General of Ukraine in Lublin and local diaspora.

We are grateful to Lviv residents and others for such warm welcome and well-organized bike ride in the city. Despite rainy weather, we managed to communicate with a lot of people who actively help us. We appreciate Lviv Police for accompanying our bicycle column. Also at the invitation of our friends from Tannus Ukraine, we took part in the multi-stage tour “Galicia Cup”. And now we are getting off in Zamość, Poland. Support us in our desire to overcome 10 000 km in 100 days for a charity purpose!

of Kyiv. I have several higher technical educations. I work as the engineer at the international airport Kyiv and I work in the GIS-company over creation of the new detailed map reference book of the city part-time.
From 16 years I started being engaged in autonomous mountain cycle campaigns. I conquered the highest peaks of the Crimea and the Carpathians,

Generally, for me travel is associated first of all with a cycle tourism that allows to glance in the most remote and hard-to-reach spots. Well and of course the bicycle is a fan, new impressions, new acquaintances!

I took part in creation Dignity revolution – I visited meetings, I brought necessary things, food. I left at night on patrol of the area, besides by bicycle,

when started burning our cars every night on which brought the help on the Maidan. I remember also Orange revolution, since the first student’s times, the atmosphere of unity, goodwill and support. Exactly there for the first time I felt patriotic spirit.
